Internet giant Google will be launching its own Android tablets within the next six months. Google executive Chairman Eric Schmidt revealed in an Interview that the company is planning to bring its own highest quality Android tablet in a market in the first phase of 2012.
This step is taken by the Google to take direct competition with their major rival Apple. Currently none of the Android tablets is doing good business in the market except from Kindle Fire. So with their own tablets, Google gets directly in the market with the Apple iPad. And Google even thinks it can match the sales of the iPad after launching its own tablet. Since Apple iPad is the best seller tablets in the market, these days.
Google is already the manufacturer (partially) of Motoral Xoom and has an experience in the field of tablets. But Xoom was unable to survive the market due to the popularity of iPad. And this product failed too, like other Android tablets. And now Google has planned to utilize it’s own brand name in matching the sales figure of tablets with Apple.
Since, no technical specifications of the tablet has been announced yet ,but it is pre-assumed that the Tablets will have the mostly common features of the Nexus. Nexus was the range of phones by the Google, which was launched earlier this year. But it is for sure that Google will not compromise with its quality, since it will face a brutal competition from iPad.
So let’s wait and watch what Google has in its store for us and hope this time they do not disappoint us.
